Bridget Jones's Diary (Bridget Jones #1) by Helen Fielding

Meet Bridget Jones—a 30-something Singleton who is certain she would have all the answers if she could:
a. lose 7 pounds
b. stop smoking
c. develop Inner Poise

"123 lbs. (how is it possible to put on 4 pounds in the middle of the night? Could flesh have somehow solidified becoming denser and heavier? Repulsive, horrifying notion), alcohol units 4 (excellent), cigarettes 21 (poor but will give up totally tomorrow), number of correct lottery numbers 2 (better, but nevertheless useless)..."

Bridget Jones' Diary is the devastatingly self-aware, laugh-out-loud daily chronicle of Bridget's permanent, doomed quest for self-improvement — a year in which she resolves to: reduce the circumference of each thigh by 1.5 inches, visit the gym three times a week not just to buy a sandwich, form a functional relationship with a responsible adult, and learn to program the VCR.

Over the course of the year, Bridget loses a total of 72 pounds but gains a total of 74. She remains, however, optimistic. Through it all, Bridget will have you helpless with laughter, and — like millions of readers the world round — you'll find yourself shouting, "Bridget Jones is me!"

Him by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

Him
by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

ARC, ebook
Expected publication: July 28th 2015

They don’t play for the same team. Or do they?

Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend. Four years ago, his tattooed, wise-cracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation. So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were eighteen? It was just a little drunken foolishness. Nobody died.

Ryan Wesley’s biggest regret is coaxing his very straight friend into a bet that pushed the boundaries of their relationship. Now, with their college teams set to face off at the national championship, he’ll finally get a chance to apologize. But all it takes is one look at his longtime crush, and the ache is stronger than ever.

Jamie has waited a long time for answers, but walks away with only more questions—can one night of sex ruin a friendship? If not, how about six more weeks of it? When Wesley turns up to coach alongside Jamie for one more hot summer at camp, Jamie has a few things to discover about his old friend...and a big one to learn about himself.

yeah... when Wes is coming to the camp, all the hot things between them start... hhhmmm... so yum!

this is my first M/M... and I love it so so very much... boys will always be boys... and these hot boys... aarrgghhh... they are just so darn hot!

and the thing is sometimes they are also so cute... I love how Wes become so loveable when it comes to Jamie, and also Jamie is so willing for Wes...

I love how their relationship's developing... when Wes comes to Jamie and Jamie does the same to Wes...

I love Jamie family, especially his mother, for being open to them and welcoming Wes to their family...

I love their chemistry and their willingness to give each other space and time...

I just love this story... with everything in it... ;-)

5 glowing stars all the way... :D

Second Chance Summer (Cedar Ridge #1) by Jill Shalvis

Second Chance Summer (Cedar Ridge #1)
by Jill Shalvis

ARC, Kindle Edition, 369 pages
Published June 30th 2015 by Grand Central Publishing

Cedar Ridge, Colorado, is famous for crisp mountain air, clear blue skies, and pine-scented breezes. And it's the last place Lily Danville wants to be. But she needs a job, and there's an opening at the hottest resort in her hometown. What has her concerned is the other hot property in Cedar Ridge: Aidan Kincaid-firefighter, rescue worker, and heartbreaker. She never could resist that devastating smile.

The Kincaid brothers are as rough and rugged as the Rocky Mountains they call home. Aidan has always done things his own way, by his own rules. And never has he regretted anything more than letting Lily walk out of his life ten years ago. If anyone has ever been in need of rescuing, she has. What she needs more than anything are long hikes, slow dances, and sizzling kisses. But that can only happen if he can get her to give Cedar Ridge-and this bad boy-a second chance.

the story is quite simple and I love the simplicity... it's about Lily Danville, who's after 10 years gone from Cedar Ridge with guilty feeling... she felt responsible of the death of her sister and father...

when she don't have choice than to go back to Cedar Ridge, she has to brace herself to face her guilt and her attraction to Aidan Kincaid, the rescuer in Cedar Ridge, although she insists that she doesn't need rescue... Aidan is willing more than anything to keep her safe...

Lily is so tough, independent and hard will... altough sometimes, she's so absorbed by her past, she still has her own stance... not easily change by Aidan attractiveness...

and Aidan, he's so sweet... he's in love to Lily from a long time ago, and what he does best is keeping Lily safe... although, Lily might not knowing that... but that's what he always does, until now...

I love their chemistry, and I love how Aidan is not hesitate to show his love when he knew that Lily's feeling the same way he did...

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars...

Unraveled by Him (Unraveled, #1) & Unraveled by Her (Unraveled, #2) by Wendy Leigh

Unraveled by Him (Unraveled, #1) & Unraveled by Her (Unraveled, #2)
by Wendy Leigh
ARC, 173 pages

After sparks fly between Robert and Miranda, he enables her to live out her wildest dreams of sexual submission, and she, in turn, inflames his dominance in every aspect. Although both of them are haunted by their past demons, they embark on a love affair that is part romance, part sexual exploration, and utterly addictive.

Unraveled by Her - ARC, 166 pages
Published June 29th 2015 by Pocket Star

In Unraveled by Him, born submissive Miranda met her perfect match in billionaire widower—and dominant—Robert Hartwell. After passing five of his BDSM tests, she thought she’d discovered her own happy ending...until she was abducted from his side at the pinnacle of their erotic fulfillment.

The story continues in Unraveled by Her, as Miranda awakens, bound and imprisoned by a mysterious woman—one who has the power to thwart Miranda’s every happiness. Can Robert find her in time? And even if he does, will the secrets Miranda kept from him destroy them?

well, I got the ARCs from a publisher... for an honest review from me... well... I have to be honest on this ones... but I don't like the stories at all... even I regretted the time I wasted on reading them... (--')

*spoiler alert everyone... not that I don't warn you!*

anyway, the stories about Miranda Stone, a ghostwriter to the stars... whom writing her own erotic novel, which mistakenly sent the draft of her novel to her sister, then who's been so initiatively send the draft to a notorious media mogul philanthropist Robert Hartwell...

Robert, while has his own story... is very intrigued by Miranda's novel... and by luring Miranda to write his ghostwriting... he easily get Miranda willingness to follow him to Switzerland...

yeah... that simple... for just knowing him from afar, Miranda, head over heels following him around...

Robert is an anthusiast dominant as well as Miranda is an anthusiast submissive, who's willing to do everything and anything at all to show Robert that she's not acting as one...

bla-bla-bla... Robert's doing his sadistic way, involving his head of maid... and the story goes on to unrevealing that his ex-wife is not really dead...

and what's Miranda reaction about that? nothing... she's just come along unwillingly...

what I don't really understand about Miranda, is she even have a brain? *hhhaalllooo.... omigod, I can't tell Miranda is a stupid person, she's just going blind and numb if it's considering Robert, while Robert, though he might show his love to Miranda... I also don't get him...

for one thing, he's super-super rich... he could hire the most elite mercenary army ex of the best of military members... but he didn't realise that his home is being bugged and people can enter and out of his property easily, though with inside information as being used to live there herself (the ex (not really ex) wife), but I still can't buy it...

yeah, I know that this is only the second installment of the series, but... can the author just cut the story like that? and expect that people willing to read the third book? not me anyway...
and not counting the not-yet-reveal story of Miranda's childhood and her grandpa... the author can't leave it hanging like that, right?

so, I guess I came to more firm realisation that I really don't like a BDSM theme novel... I'm sorry I requested the ARC, and promise my self that from now on... I wouldn't dare my self to read those kind of novel... :d

how many stars, would you ask?
well... 1 star for book #1 and 1 and a half stars for book #2

I found the book unnatural... that's what I really don't like about the book...

but if you like BDSM, well... you could give it a shot... it's just it's not my kind of cup of tea...

*cheers!
